Be Confidant and Sure
"The Warriors Reminder
i am awake
my mind is free
i am creative
i love myself
my willpower is strong
i am brave
i practice patience
i don't judge folks
i give, not to receive
i don't expect
i accept
i listen more than i talk
i know i'll change
i know you'll change
i'll hold on one more day
i start over when necessary
i create my own situations
i am cosmic
i do not have the answers
i desire to learn
i am the plan
i am strong
i am weak
i want to grow
i know i will
i take on responsibility
i hide myself from no one
i'm on my path
warriors walk alone
i won't let my focus change
taking out the demons in my range
that's mama's gun"

Every day has a dawn.
Aurora now had left her saffron bed,
And beams of early light the heav'ns o'erspread,
When, from a tow'r, the queen, with wakeful eyes,
Saw day point upward from the rosy skies.
- Virgil’s Aeneid

Thrill Seeker
This little guy climbed all the way up the Sleeping Bear sand dunes so he could roll down! First he said hello to us though.

"Nobody knows how they are loved..."
I met this bird one fall day. He wouldn't move no matter how close I came. I think he was freezing so I carried him home out of the elements. He put up no fight, not even a peep. I placed the bird on my kitchen table next to a dish of water on a branch I collected from outside. I had been up all night waiting for tickets to see Captain Kirk perform in Shakespeare's The Tempest, so I took a nap. When I woke, the bird had strength again to fly. I opened the porch and front door, and he flew away. I don't know if my interference was good or bad, but I do know the bird helped me.
"I think of you in the colors of the world..."
